We understand that there are questions and concerns about the future of pharmacy services in Richards Landing.
While MacKay’s Island Pharmacy will no longer be operating at the Bridgelink Medical Center after July 31st, the Matthews Memorial Hospital Association (MMHA) and Bridgelink Community Properties are actively exploring options to maintain pharmacy access in our community.
This decision was made after careful consideration and reflects the Board’s responsibility to ensure a supportive environment for patients, staff, and healthcare providers.
Our goal is to welcome a pharmacy provider who can best meet the current needs of the community. This may involve exploring new partnerships or a Request for Proposals.
We appreciate your patience and understanding during this transition. MMHA and Bridgelink Community Properties are committed to supporting local health care and will share updates as they become available.
